BP offering front line workers discount on gas amid COVID-19 pandemic
(WTGS) — Many of us have not used our cars too much, other than to run to the grocery store to stock up for the week. But, hospital workers and law enforcement are at the front lines of this pandemic and have to get up every day to drive to work.
That's why gas giant BP is offering front line workers a discount for, what they are calling, local heroes.
First responders, doctors, nurses and hospital workers can get a 50 cents off per gallon discount on their next fill up at BP and Amoco stations.
All the heroes need to do is get a code to punch in at the pump.
When you're at the pump press cancel, enter the discount code you received, press enter and then follow the prompts on the screen.
