HARRISBURG, Penn. (CNN Newsource/WKRC) - One accomplished kid graduated from high school a little earlier than most.
Nine-year-old David Balogun graduated from Reach Cyber Charter School, after taking classes remotely.
"I want to be an astrophysicist, and I want to study black holes and supernovas," said David.
While both of David's parents have advanced degrees, they said raising a child with exceptional intellectual skills has its challenges.
"He's a nine-year-old with a brain that has a capacity to understand and comprehend a lot of concepts that's beyond his years, and sometimes beyond my understanding," said David's mother, Ronya Balogun.
David credits his graduation to his favorite teachers.
"David was an inspirational kid, definitely one who changes the way you think about teaching," said teacher Cody Derr.
Now, the family is looking at colleges across the country, looking for one that's the right fit for David.
