SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) — A man who was visiting Savannah from London last week was shot and killed at a convenience store.
We confirmed that Benjamin Tucker, 27, a London resident, was fatally wounded at 502 W. Bay St., on April 24, which is the address of a gas station and shop, Time Saver.
According to the Daily Mirror, Tucker, was a lifelong Liverpool FC fan visiting family during a month-long stay.

A shooting suspect, 28-year-old Georgiamae Lawrence, has been taken into custody. Lawrence was booked into the Chatham County jail on a charge of murder.
Tucker was one of two victims to sustain injuries during the shooting. The other victim, a 32-year-old, survived the incident.
Police said the current indication is that this is not a random shooting.
SPD detectives are asking anyone who has information or was at the store around 1 a.m. when the incident took place, to contact police with tips at (912)-525-3124.
The investigation is still ongoing, and there are no further details to release at this time.
