UPDATE: Two people dead after wreck on I-75 South

UPDATE as of Sunday: Simmons wife, Judy Simmons was pronounced dead by Navicent Medical Center Employees just after 9 p.m. on Saturday.

MACON, Ga. -- According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, one person is dead after and accident on I-75 South and Eisenhower Pkwy Saturday afternoon.

Samuel Simmons was pronounced dead on the scene by Coroner Jones.

According to Leon Jones the accident was related to a medical emergency.

Simmons wife, Judy Simmons was also in the vehicle she is in stable condition at Navicent Medical Center.

This accident is still under investigation.
