GA Public Commissioner Echols presented key to City of Tybee
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTGS) — Wednesday, Tybee mayor Shirley Sessions presented Georgia Public Commissioner Tim Echols with a key to the City of Tybee.
Sessions presented the key at the island's new Marine Science Center for his efforts in sustainability around Georgia.

"Thank you for your sincere commitment to sustainability, resiliency, and taking the time to come to Tybee to see what we have. You're going to be one of us now," said Sessions.
Tuesday, Echols stopped by the city's new Marine Science Center to talk about sustainability and solar energy at the center.

"We have 100 miles of coast, we have some incredible barrier islands here in Georgia, and it's something that we all need to cherish and work hard to protect," said Echols.
This was the first key Mayor Sessions has given as mayor.
Echols is currently working to put solar panels on the new marine science center.
