CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTGS) — Small businesses within Chatham County can now apply and receive up to $25,000.
The Chatham County Small Business Grant recently received funds that provide one-time funds to businesses that have been affected by COVID-19.
The grant was initially started to award businesses within the county's unincorporated areas. Now all businesses within the county, except within the city of Savannah, are eligible.

“The Chairman and the board have been diligent about is making sure we are taking care of the small businesses who helped us during those most difficult times. So, we recognize that these individuals and their staff members have been here and have remained in Chatham county and we want to take care of our own. We want to provide them with this opportunity to stay as a provider and a vendor in our community and support them in those efforts to help us to take care of the citizens That we all care about so much,” said Tara Jennings, Chatham County Strategic Planning Administrator.
