Attorneys and their clients are frustrated with pushed back jury trials

Savannah, Ga. (WTGS) — Jury trials continue to be pushed back until October, leaving attorneys and their clients frustrated.

Trial Lawyer Paul W. Painter III with The Law Center says it's given them more time to prepare, but the delays have been hard on clients.

"People who are waiting, they already had to wait for so long. From the time of whatever happened that change their life, to go through the court system, to go through and wait for the wheels of justice to turn, and then they’re getting towards the end and then this happens. The frustration is unimaginable," he said.

Paul says they are continuing to try and advance these cases to get them where they need to be.
